We had just the 1 trip out last Monday when the wind finally backed off. Mackerel finally showed up as they chased bait schools but we seemed to miss the action as we had decided to chase livies & have a bottom Fish.
The current was really roaring from the North making it difficult to fish on Anchor. We did manage some nice Pearlies , Squire and Scarlet Sea Perch but a lot of undersized fish were landed & released. We did Anchor & berley up on the way home but only managed Sharks & no Mackerel. I hear there are still a few Muddies coming from the Straits but they have dropped off. A big rain will get them mobile again, soon I hope.
Till next week, Good Fishing.
