We have little to report this week. After a short forced trip to Vic I have not been offshore since.
We have a lot of regulars & campers waiting but the North winds are back & the current has picked up again. One Charter operator was out yesterday (Wed) for a pretty good catch with no current.
Another operator is out today (Thurs) & the fish have shut down with the current screaming again. Things will change soon as we approach the wet season.
This weather is a copy of last year, as October was a poor month.
Onshore fishing has hotted up with some big GT,s being landed up at Inskip Pt. Wayne from Rainbow Beach Tackle says there are still plenty of Whiting from the Beach & Mangrove Jack around the Creeks. Sandcrabs are also still being taken from the Straits.
Till next week Good Fishing.
